HAWAII ZOMBIES<\/a>: Power pop e lo-fi nell’EP omonimo d’esordio in uscita il\u00a0 24 novembre per UMA Records<\/strong><\/p>\n

HAWAII ZOMBIES<\/a><\/strong> \u00e8 l’EP omonimo di debutto della band milanese, in uscita il 24 novembre<\/strong> per Uma Records<\/strong>. Il gruppo, dopo la pubblicazione dei primi due singoli Dark Side of The Nerd Moon e Zebrahead, presenta il primo EP in cui un sound attinto dai sotterranei del brit pop si fonde a un approccio dalle tinte lo-fi, proponendo un genere che loro stessi definiscono bubblegum punk.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La musica degli HAWAII ZOMBIES<\/a><\/strong> trova sfogo in una grande potenza espressiva che d\u00e0 vita a melodie immediate, attitudine punk e una spiccata vena power pop. L’EP, composto di sei brani cantati in inglese, rispecchia, attraverso i testi e la musica, la forte autoironia e spensieratezza degli HAWAII ZOMBIES<\/a><\/strong> che, al contempo, non rinunciano a cantare anche i lati pi\u00f9 malinconici e tristi della vita di ogni giorno.
\nI quattro musicisti di Milano hanno trovato ispirazione da band come Pavement e H\u00fcsker D\u00fc in particolare per quanto riguarda il sound volutamente DIY, e Nada Surf e Dinosaur jr., per le strutture pi\u00f9 ammiccanti dei brani.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Come affermano loro stessi con ironia, “l\u2019Ep \u00e8 di piacevole ascolto, ballabile, colorato, divertente, come masticare un big bubble ma del gusto sbagliato perch\u00e9 avevano finito quelli alla vaniglia e fragola”<\/em>.<\/p>\n

I brani sono interamente scritti da Hawaii Zombies. L’EP \u00e8 registrato, prodotto e mixato al Jules’ Basement da Julio Speziali.
