Il metal e le sonorit\u00e0 hard, in tutte le loro declinazioni, in Italia Marted\u00ec 14 agosto e Mercoledi 15 Agosto una doppietta da non perdere: dagli Usa arrivano i\u00a0Municipal Waste, dal 2001 alfieri mondiali del thrash metal, con un seguito trasversale e radicato tra amanti del metal, dell’hardcore e del punk.<\/p>\n

MUNICIPAL WASTE<\/strong><\/a> – I Municipal Waste sono una band Usa nata nel 2001 a Richmond, Virginia. Il loro sound \u00e8 capace di travalicare i rigidi schematismi dei generi. Il sound \u00e8 chiaramente di matrice thrash metal, nato dalla fusione tra l’heavy metal classico e l’hardcore punk anglo-americano, nel solco di gruppi come Judas Priest, Mot\u00f6rhead e Venom. La voce e la batteria sono invece di ascendenza hardcore punk. Un mix infuocato che da tre lustri gira il mondo, accompagnando l’attivit\u00e0 live con quella in studio. L’ultimo lavoro \u00e8 del 2017, “Slime and punishment”: quattordici esplosioni dove la velocit\u00e0 spasmodica viene alternata a tempi cadenzati e potenti: brani essenziali ma efficaci, dotati, per quanto spediti, di chiare linee melodiche che vanno ad insinuarsi nelle sterno per agguantare il cuore, grazie ad una ritmica dirompente e massiccia. Furia, cattiveria, impertinenza rafforzate dalla capacit\u00e0 di colpire con assoli sporadici, ma graffianti o brevi momenti di Twin Guitar dal vago sapore maideniano che lasciano il segno. Tanta voglia di sbattere la testa e mosh a non finire: questi sono i Municipal Waste. Senza sconti e senza paura!
