Gli\u00a0Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0hanno finalmente pubblicato il loro nuovo album\u00a0Wasteland<\/strong><\/em>. Il disco esce\u00a0su\u00a0Rise Above Records<\/strong>, tre anni dopo l’ultimo lavoro\u00a0The Night Creeper<\/em>. La band sar\u00e0 in Italia per un’unica data\u00a0domenica 2 dicembre 2018<\/strong>\u00a0al\u00a0Legend Club di Milano.<\/strong>\u00a0Il concerto sar\u00e0 quindi l’occasione di ascoltare live per la prima volta le tracce del disco nuovo, oltre alle classiche adorate dai fan.<\/p>\n

Wasteland \u00e8 il quinto album in studio degli Uncle Acid, ed \u00e8 composto da 8 tracce per un totale di 47 minuti infusi di\u00a0psichedelia audace e vitale<\/strong>.\u00a0“Abbiamo lavorato con il grande Geoff Neal (Nine Inch Nails\/Motorhead\/Fuzz), che ha da subito la direzione che avevamo in mente e come catturarne l’essenza. Suonare queste tracce nella stessa stanza in cui sono nati cos\u00ec tanti classici ci ha sicuramente ispirati, a partire dall’aver fatto passare le chitarre per la stessa camera dell’eco che usavano i Van Halen negli anni ’70”<\/em>, spiega il cantante\u00a0Kevin Starrs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Il concept del disco \u00e8 molto particolare: l’ambientazione \u00e8\u00a0un mondo distopico<\/strong>\u00a0dove la gente vive costretta entro le mura delle citt\u00e0 sotto sorveglianza costante, e i pensieri e i ricordi di ognuno sono stati cancellati, lasciando ogni persona in balia delle luci degli schermi della propaganda. Un concetto che secondo Starrs si inserisce bene nel contesto del mondo attuale, in cui giorno per giorno tutti noi veniamo\u00a0bombardati dalla propaganda e dalla disinformazione<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
