Dopo aver perso due parenti ad Aleppo nel 2011,\u00a0<strong>K \u00c1 R Y Y N<\/strong>\u00a0decise di lasciare Los Angeles per trasferirsi a Cherry Valle, a nord dello stato di New York, dove si isol\u00f2 per elaborare gli ultimi eventi. Qui, nel corso di 18 mesi\u00a0\u00a0<strong>K \u00c1 R Y Y N<\/strong>\u00a0scrisse due brani per\u00a0<strong><em>THE QUANTA SERIES<\/em><\/strong>. Il primo \u00e8\u00a0<strong>\u201cTODAY I READ YOUR LIFE STORY 11:11\u201d<\/strong>, un brano viscerale ed emotivo registrato in una sola take. Il secondo riflette sulla temporaneit\u00e0 e la realt\u00e0 di affrontare le conseguenze delle nostre azioni e si intitola<strong>\u201cSEGMENT &amp; THE LINE\u201d<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>K \u00c1 R Y Y N<\/strong>\u00a0trascorse gli anni seguenti a Berlino dove scrisse \u201cPURGATORY\u201d, un brano ispirato al ricordo di un\u2019 infanzia trascorsa nella regione di Idlib, in Siria. Viaggiando,\u00a0 trov\u00f2 ispirazione ovunque, dall\u2019eredit\u00e0 della sua famiglia ai sentimenti di amore e dolore provocati dalle interazioni umane.
