Fuori il 22 Febbraio\u00a0“Theatre Of Darkness”<\/strong>,\u00a0il primo full length del duo elettro-psych dei\u00a0Sonars<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0nato tra il Regno Unito e l’Italia e formato da\u00a0Frederick Paysden e Serena Oldrati, ambasciatori di un sound internazionale forgiato sui palchi di tutta Europa. Dopo anni trascorsi nelle line up dei festival pi\u00f9 ambiti del mondo musicale indipendente, la band segna l’ingresso nel roster dell’etichetta INRI regalandoci un disco complesso capace di spaziare tra sguardi introspettivi e riflessioni collettive.<\/p>\n

“Theatre Of Darkness”<\/strong>\u00a0si presenta all’ascolto come un’unica grande traccia, una vera e propria esperienza sensoriale gi\u00e0 anticipata dal singolo “Love Me Anyway”\u00a0accompagnato da un videoclip ad opera della stessa band, un collage postmoderno di filmati in super 8 scovati come tesori nascosti nei mercatini dell’usato.<\/p>\n

Il disco alterna atmosfere lente e ritmi pi\u00f9 veloci ed energici, ballate in cui il sintetizzatore \u00e8 protagonista e pezzi rock che vedono la chitarra assumere un ruolo predominante. La fluidit\u00e0 dell’ascolto \u00e8 invece assicurata nei brani strumentali che contengono segmenti di suoni ambientali, improvvisazioni con sintetizzatori, ritagli di voce parlata, elementi di rumore e frammenti di registrazioni fatte durante i viaggi della band nel corso degli anni.\u00a0L’artwork<\/strong>\u00a0dell’album strizza l\u2019occhio alle tematiche ambientali con la stilizzazione di insetti a rischio di estinzione e continua sulla stessa linea riproponendo in nuova veste materiale dimenticato e scartato in un elegante e sempre attuale bianco e nero.<\/p>\n

“Theatre Of Darkness”<\/strong>\u00a0\u00e8 soprattutto un tour in continuo aggiornamento supportato dall\u2019Italia Music Export – SIAE<\/strong>\u00a0e che avr\u00e0 il via il prossimo 27 aprile in Germania; il tour sar\u00e0 curato da\u00a0Meltbooking<\/strong>\u00a0e\u00a0Flowstate Music<\/strong>\u00a0per l\u2019estero e in Italia da\u00a0ASAP Arts.<\/strong><\/p>\n
