The Libertines, Babyshambles… e ora\u00a0The Puta Madres<\/strong>. La vena creativa di\u00a0Peter Doherty<\/strong>\u00a0sembra inesauribile, e l’artista inglese \u00e8 pronto a portarla dal vivo nel nostro Paese. Il nuovo progetto artistico di Doherty sar\u00e0 infatti in Italia\u00a0marted\u00ec 23 luglio<\/strong>\u00a0alla rassegna\u00a0Acieloaperto 2019<\/strong>, che si terr\u00e0 alla\u00a0Rocca Malatestiana di Cesena<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Nato nel 2016 durante un tour dei The Libertines nell’America del Sud, il progetto mira a ricercare un\u00a0sound garage rock<\/strong>\u00a0caratteristico delle prime avventure musicale di Doherty, mediato per\u00f2 da una\u00a0maggiore raffinatezza dei suoni<\/strong>\u00a0derivata dalle numerose esperienze artistiche del frontman. La band \u00e8 composta, oltre che da Doherty, dal chitarrista Jack Jones (membro anche dei Trampolene), dalla tastierista Katia DeVidas, dal violinista Miki Beavis, dal bassista Michael “Miggles” Bontemps e dal batterista Rafa.<\/p>\n

Il gruppo \u00e8 pronto a pubblicare\u00a0il suo album d’esordio omonimo<\/strong>, in uscita il 26 aprile. Anticipato dal singolo\u00a0Who’s Been Having You Over<\/strong>, il disco \u00e8 stato registrato nel corso di una settimana in un piccolo villaggio di pescatori in Francia. Doherty ne ha parlato descrivendolo come\u00a0“un devastante ritratto intimo d\u2019amore, perdita e smarrimento.”<\/em>\u00a0A Cesena avremo quindi l’occasione di ascoltare\u00a0per la prima volta dal vivo<\/strong>\u00a0le canzoni dell’album,\u00a0insieme al grande repertorio dell\u2019artista con i successi dei The Libertines, dei Babyshambles e della sua carriera solista.<\/p>\n
