Ma ci sono anche, proprio a ricordare la vera missione degli\u00a0<strong>Hollywood Vampires<\/strong>, tre cover di canzoni originariamente scritte e registrate da tre amici e rocker che ci hanno lasciati troppo presto: una versione intensa e intima di \u201c<strong>Heroes<\/strong>\u201d di\u00a0<strong>David Bowie<\/strong>, eseguita meravigliosamente da\u00a0<strong>Johnny Depp<\/strong>, \u201c<strong>People Who Died<\/strong>\u201d della\u00a0<strong>Jim Carroll Band\u00a0<\/strong>e \u201c<strong>You Can\u2019t Put Your Arms Around A Memory<\/strong>\u201d di\u00a0<strong>Johnny Thunder<\/strong>, cantata da\u00a0<strong>Joe Perry<\/strong>. I turbolenti inni rock come \u201c<strong>The Boogieman Surprise<\/strong>\u201d e \u201c<strong>Who\u2019s Laughing Now<\/strong>\u201d (primo singolo estratto dall\u2019album), rappresentano appieno l\u2019attitude spontanea, sfacciata e festaiola che gli\u00a0<strong>Hollywood Vampires\u00a0<\/strong>sfoggiano durante le loro performance sfrenate sui palcoscenici di tutto il mondo. Ma l\u2019album mostra diverse loro sfumature, grazie a tracce come \u201c<strong>We Gotta Rise<\/strong>\u201d, brano politico dal tono ironico e pungente che segue la tradizione di \u201cElected\u201d di Alice, e \u201c<strong>Mr. Spider<\/strong>\u201d, epico esempio di brano gotico e psichedelico.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Non solo Rise \u00e8 una bestia totalmente diversa dal primo album dei Vampires, ma \u00e8 anche lontano da qualsiasi mio progetto precedente. Il mio approccio \u00e8 diverso da quello con cui ho lavorato agli altri album. Tutti noi, io, Joe, Johnny e Tommy abbiamo scritto dei brani per questo album, la differenza \u00e8 che stavolta io non ho provato a cambiarne nessuno per renderlo pi\u00f9 mio. Il sound di questo lavoro \u00e8 fighissimo perch\u00e9 ognuno di noi ha influenze diverse. Credo che Rise possa davvero definire il sound degli Hollywood Vampires, perch\u00e9 nel precedente stavamo solo rendendo omaggio ai nostri fratelli venuti a mancare\u00a0troppo presto<\/em>\u201d \u2013 Alice Cooper.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Rise nasce da una pura energia creativa, che \u00e8 esattamente quella che si sprigiona quando suoniamo sul palco. In questo album tutti noi facciamo quello che ci riesce meglio e non c\u2019\u00e8 nessuno che ci guarda le spalle. Non ci sono stati imposti limiti, non c\u2019\u00e8 stata alcuna pressione\u00a0e questo ci ha permesso di scrivere e registrare uno degli album pi\u00f9 liberi e sinceri che io stesso abbia mai creato.
