Il disco sembra voler flirtare con le nuove tecnologie, tra loop mozzafiato di sintetizzatori e batterie. Influenzato dai ritmi di una citt\u00e0 come\u00a0<strong>New\u00a0<\/strong><strong>York<\/strong>, dove i\u00a0<strong>Battles\u00a0<\/strong>l\u2019hanno scritto e registrato, l\u2019album va dritto al centro della decostruzione strumentale oggetto della ricerca del gruppo.\u00a0Come afferma Ian,\u00a0<em>\u201cit\u2019s about chord progressions, resolutions, returning home.
