I’m Not A Blonde<\/a><\/strong> (But I\u2019d Love To Be Blondie) sono Chiara “Oakland” Castello e Camilla Matley.
\nPolistrumentiste e compositrici, hanno pubblicato, con scadenza trimestrale da ottobre 2014 a luglio 2015, una trilogia di EP contenenti 3 brani ciascuno, chiamati ironicamente 3P.
\nIl 12 febbraio 2016 esce il primo album INTRODUCING I’M NOT A BLONDE<\/strong><\/em> con INRI METATRON e include 9 brani estratti dai precedenti EP e 3 remix realizzati da Yakamoto Kotzuga, Green Cable e Kole Laca de “Il Teatro Degli Orrori”.
\nI brani sono di stampo electro-pop che richiamano le pi\u00f9 disparate influenze: dai ritmi e synth degli anni \u201980 alle chitarre e voci dal sapore punk anni \u201990, avvicinandosi ai mondi di Moloko di Roisin Murphy, Le Tigre di Kathleen Hanna e pi\u00f9 recentemente Tune-Yards.<\/p>\n

A giugno 2015 presentano il loro primo video officiale IF con anteprima su REDBULL TV e subito dopo in rotazione su MTV \u201c new Zone \u201c. Nel gennaio 2016 esce Not Lost, secondo video estratto da INTRODUCING I’M NOT A BLONDE, presentato in anteprima su Dance Like Shaquille O’Neal.
\nProtagoniste a Palazzo Corsini, durante Pitti Uomo A 2015 \/ 2016, della sfilata di Andrea Incontri di cui curano la colonna sonora live, si conquistano, tra 2014 e 2016, le aperture degli Hurts (Alcatraz), Bluvertigo (Fabrique), Verdena e Merchandise .
\nNel 2016 vincono il concorso “Musica da Bere” ed arrivano in finale alle selezioni di “Arezzo Wave” e in semifinale allo “Sziget and Home Festival”.
\nPer quest’ultimo suonano “in vetrina” alla preview milanese durante il Salone del Mobile 2016.<\/p>\n
