Con tre album alle spalle, un Mercury Prize nel 2012 e plurime nomination ai GRAMMY e BRIT Awards, la celebre formazione indie-rock creata a Leeds da\u00a0Joe Newman<\/strong>\u00a0(voce, chitarra),\u00a0Gus Unger-Hamilton<\/strong>\u00a0(voce, tastiere, basso) e\u00a0Thom Sonny Green<\/strong>\u00a0(batteria, percussioni)\u00a0 presenta il nuovo album, pubblicato a febbraio 2022, \u201cThe Dream\u201d.<\/p>\n

Anticipato dai singoli \u201cU&ME<\/strong>\u201d e “Get Better<\/strong>“, l’album registrato durante il lockdown rappresenta\u00a0 il disco degli\u00a0alt-J<\/strong>\u00a0pi\u00f9 maturo, rappresentativo e sperimentale di sempre. Negli ultimi anni i tre ragazzi inglesi sono diventati la realt\u00e0 indie pi\u00f9 importante al mondo, con tour giganteschi come headliner in tutti i maggiori festival e continui sold-out. La lunga e forzata pausa dai live ha permesso loro di tornare a concentrarsi nella produzione, ed ora sono pronti a tornare sui palchi pi\u00f9 forti di prima.<\/p>\n

Con questo prestigioso concerto, il Locus festival 2022 riconferma il carattere sempre pi\u00f9 “diffuso” del festival, con la parte centrale del programma in agosto a Locorotondo, ed una serie di grandi eventi unici in splendide location di diversi comuni pugliesi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

L’area scelta per il concerto degli alt-J, in esclusiva per tutto il sud Italia, \u00e8 lo spazio antistante il Faro Borbonico nel Porto di Bari, luogo evocativo di cultura, turismo e accoglienza.<\/strong>\u00a0Continua cos\u00ec la collaborazione con l’Amministrazione del capoluogo pugliese, gi\u00e0 sperimentata con successo nelle scorse due edizioni. L\u2019evento rientra nella quinta edizione di \u201cFesta del mare\u201d, promossa da Regione Puglia e realizzata dal Teatro Pubblico Pugliese nell\u2019ambito del protocollo d\u2019intesa 2022 con Puglia Promozione, operazione finanziata a valere sul PO PUGLIA FESR \u2013 FES 2014\/2020 Il futuro alla portata di tutti Asse VI \u2013 Azione 6.8.<\/p>\n
