Dopo un lungo tour estivo che ha toccato ben 12 Paesi europei e freschi di pubblicazione del loro sesto album, intitolato Ma\u00f1ana<\/strong>, uscito lo scorso 19 agosto per La Tempesta Dub in collaborazione con l\u2019etichetta americana Ineffable Records, i Mellow Mood tornano in Italia per una serie di concerti autunnali. Scritto e registrato tra il 2020 e l\u2019inizio del 2022, il nuovo album Ma\u00f1ana<\/strong> raccoglie dodici tracce, sette delle quali sono collaborazioni internazionali. Il disco \u00e8 stato anticipato da una lunga scia di singoli: Mr. Global <\/em>ft. Kabaka Pyramid, Laser Sight<\/em>, Blessings On Me<\/em>, I And I Chant <\/em>ft. Emeterians e il successivo remix con le voci di Anthony B e Alborosie, My Bed <\/em>ft. Konshens e Make It Better <\/em>ft. Iya Terra.<\/p>\n

Ma\u00f1ana <\/em>contiene inoltre 5 inediti assoluti: Dub Jah Bless, <\/em>che ben rappresenta l\u2019intenzione sonora di tutto il disco con solide bass line, arrangiamenti essenziali e un suono potente. Paris <\/em>Rock \u00e8 un brano in cui roots e sperimentazione ritmica si fondono alla perfezione, e vede la collaborazione della stella europea della dancehall Million Stylez. Promise<\/em> si muove invece su territori pi\u00f9 elettronici, proprio come My Bed<\/em>, ma i Mellow Mood ricercano qui un\u2019atmosfera particolare, grazia alla collaborazione di un vero e proprio coro gospel. Sweet Like Honey <\/em>\u00e8 un brano di speranza e di positivit\u00e0, una canzone nata dalla riflessione sugli ultimi due anni passati tra lockdown e vite sospese. Proprio come un percorso perfettamente circolare, In My Town <\/em>chiude il disco cos\u00ec com\u2019era iniziato, con un big bad riddim.<\/p>\n
