DUE DATE IN ITALIA PER IL RITORNO DEI CYMBALS EAT GUITARS<\/a> A FEBBRAIO!<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

La metamorfosi, l’evoluzione artistica di una delle pi\u00f9 amate rock band indipendenti americane: “Pretty Years”, il quarto lavoro in studio del gruppo di Staten Island ci pone di fronte ad uno nuovo, apprezzabile, cambiamento. Un mix di generi e ispirazioni che guarda a “Springsteen, Bowie dei 70s, The Smiths, The Cure, Neil Young”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

La band, composta dal cantante \/ chitarrista Joseph D’Agostino<\/strong>, il bassista Whipple<\/strong>, il tastierista Brian Hamilton<\/strong> e il batterista Andy Dole<\/strong>, ha realizzato quello che possiamo definire l’album pi\u00f9 enigmatico a livello sonoro e, allo stesso tempo, forse quello pi\u00f9 gratificante, grazie a una leggerezza e a un’orecchiabilit\u00e0 inedite.<\/p>\n

\n“Pretty Years”<\/strong>, uscito lo scorso settembre per Sinderlyn, \u00e8 stato accolto con entusiasmo da Pitchfork (8\/10) e PopMatters (9\/10), e verr\u00e0 presentato live il prossimo febbraio, il 23 al Circolo Magnolia<\/strong> di Segrate (MI) e il 25 al Covo Club<\/strong> di Bologna: un giro sulle montagne russe, di testi e musica, per raccontare cosa significa essere vivi ed esserlo ora, raccontando la realt\u00e0 con occhi ben aperti e aspettando i prossimi, forse ancora migliori, “pretty years”<\/p>\n
