Dopo un\u2019estate di concerti nei festival di tutta Italia, i SELTON annunciano due live speciali che anticipano il club tour 2025 di\u00a0GRINGO Vol. 1<\/em>. L\u2019appuntamento \u00e8 sabato 2 novembre a ROMA<\/strong>\u00a0(Angelo Mai,\u00a0prevendite qui<\/a>)\u00a0e domenica 24 novembre a MILANO<\/strong>\u00a0(Santeria Toscana 31\u00a0–\u00a0<\/strong>prevendite qui<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Il palco vedr\u00e0 protagonista una doppia batteria e la formazione a cinque. Insieme ai\u00a0SELTON<\/strong>\u00a0(RAMIRO LEVI, DANIEL PLENTZ, EDUARDO STEIN DECHTIAR),<\/strong>\u00a0anche\u00a0DANIELA MORNATI<\/strong>\u00a0(tastierista e voce) e\u00a0GIULIA FORMICA<\/strong>\u00a0(batterista).<\/p>\n

Per la produzione del disco \u00e8 stato coinvolto\u00a0Ricky Damian<\/strong>, giovane professionista italiano\u00a0fuorisede e fuoriclasse<\/em>, come lo definiscono i\u00a0SELTON<\/strong>,\u00a0vincitore di un Grammy Award\u00a0<\/strong>per \u201cUptown Funk<\/em>\u201d di Bruno Mars, e braccio destro di Mark Ronson, trapiantato a Londra per inseguire il suo sogno \u201canche lui \u00e8 un gringo a modo suo<\/em>\u201d. Con i SELTON ha registrato buona parte del disco\u00a0nello Studio 13 di Damon Albarn<\/strong>\u00a0e, tra sintetizzatori e strumenti provenienti da tutto il mondo, ha contribuito profondamente alla ricerca sonora del disco.<\/p>\n

GRINGO\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>\u00e8 per i\u00a0SELTON<\/strong>\u00a0una personale rivoluzione\u00a0\u201cSiamo partiti da una cinquantina di canzoni\u00a0<\/em>\u2013 raccontano –\u00a0per poi arrivare alle venti che erano per noi imprescindibili, e da l\u00ec abbiamo capito che sarebbe stato effettivamente un disco doppio, non bianco \u2013\u00a0<\/em>come quello di chi da sempre li ispira\u00a0– ma verde\u201d.<\/em>\u00a0Il\u00a0design della copertina monocolore verde \u00e8 opera di Eduardo\u00a0Dudu<\/em>\u00a0Stein Dechtiar<\/strong>, bassista e artista grafico della band. L\u2019intenzione \u00e8 semplice, ma ambiziosa:\u00a0lasciare spazio soltanto alla musica, niente grafiche o altre idee che potessero distrarre da quello.<\/strong><\/p>\n
