Espada <\/a>\u00e8 un quintetto fondato da Giacomo Gigli<\/strong> sotto il segno dell\u2019amore per la forma canzone.<\/p>\n

Il progetto si conforma come contenitore di svariate esperienze musicali, laddove ogni componente opera parallelamente in territori divergenti, dal jazz alla psichedelia<\/strong>, dalla musica sperimentale al cantautorato<\/strong>, trovando il proprio filo conduttore nella narrativa sentimentale<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Espada nasce nel 2014<\/strong> a Buenos Aires<\/strong> dove Gigli pubblica il primo EP \u201cFlesh y Steel\u201d<\/strong> per l\u2019etichetta argentina Sounds of Delta<\/strong>. Il progetto continua poi a Foligno (Umbria, Italia) sotto forma di una band composta da Gigli e da altri musicisti della zona: alle chitarre, Rocco Zulevi (Rijgs, Danny Mellow, Vaporetti) e MS (autore assieme alla cantante Elvina Pinto dell\u2019EP \u201cThe Well\u201d, BVR 2015); al basso, Joe Rehmer (Hobby Horse, El Portal, Giovanni Guidi Rebel Band); alla batteria, Leonardo Pucci (Pulsar, Danny Mellow).<\/p>\n

Il nuovo disco di Espada \u201cLove Storm\u201d, in uscita il 15 dicembre<\/strong> per BVR<\/a>, si compone di sette brani firmati da Gigli, nei quali l\u2019ossessione per il passato non prende completo possesso di un discorso ancora aperto.<\/p>\n
